Alex was sitting at the top of the gigantic tree. When he touched the egg, the voice spoke.
" ITEM - SPIRIT EGG. REQUIREMENTS TO HATCH - BLOOD OF THE RAISING ROOSTER. RARITY -? RACE -? "
His inventory window was open, the slot previously holding the book of the world was empty. He pushed the egg in to the screen towards the empty slot. It went inside. He then looked down the tree, he could not see the ground even with the help of his vision skill. He didn't know how to get down.
" How do I get down?" He asked himself.
" PROVIDE THE ELEVATOR WITH MANA. " The voice spoke.
He scratched his head, he didn't know how to do that too. Then it hit him, the information in his mind coming up.
Magic, or mana for short, is like air and light. No one can see it, but everyone can sense it. The mana flows through the body similarly to air. The mana flows through the soul and gets materialized inside the body. Magic or mana cores, or simply cores for short, are used to make a body starts adapting to the soul.
A person can only access mana if they have consumed a core. As a person's rank increases, their body starts to evolve. Once at divine rank, the soul and body become one. That was the basic information that the book gave him.
Alex took out the item called Core of Hegemony. It was a large gem the size of his fist, a swirl of purple and gold.
The voice spoke " ITEM - CORE OF HEGEMONY. RARITY - RELIC. USES LEFT - 1/1. ACCEPT OR REJECT ".
Having no choice, Alex mentally chooses to accept. He was engulfed in a beam of purple and gold light. He sensed that the sun fell into a state of eclipse. He lost his consciousness, still standing.

Ketovan Motsari was standing on top of the watchtower situated inside the local church of the hegemon. He was thinking about the ways he can locate the wielder of the core of hegemony.
His thoughts froze, and his eyes widened. The sun went into a state of eclipse. The sun was covered in purple and gold colors. A tiny amount of sunlight flowed out from the edges. Suddenly, the colors started to flow down like a beam. It fell down towards the abandoned city of the forest dwellers.
Ketovan slammed his fist into the pointed end of the watchtower. His commander, rank body destroying the top completely, only dust was left behind, no piece bigger than sand particles.
" Dammit!!! " He roared in anger.

When Alex regained his consciousness. He could sense a felling other than air around him.
" Rule number one, I need to know whether I will remain conscious or not before I use an item. I am losing my senses very often. " Alex made a mental note.
He gently breathed out, mana flowing out of his soul and body.
" According to the book, the soul only purifies mana in the surroundings and pushes it into the body to use. But my soul is giving out mana, not using the mana present around me, " he scratched his head.
A screen appeared before him. It was a swirl of black, gold, purple, and silver colors mixing with each other but not blending. I read:

He was exploring the city. They were around 200 buildings in the abandoned city, 120 of the skyscrapers-tree houses were burned to that extent that most of the trees holding the buildings were straight up black.

He moved forward, ignoring the voice, he approached the main entrance of the temple.
It was a large door, around 25 feet tall and 10 feet wide, black. When he touched the door, it felt like smooth metal, it was cold to touch.
It had a man with 6 arms; his face was smoothed out until it was just a plain oval shaped bulge. His body was covered in armor, holding a saber in one of his arms. There was a dragon flying in the background its magnificent body was beaming with light even in the black metallic door. He pushed the door, and it shrieked a little as it drifted inwards.
" Let's get going " He entered the building.
