Apollo hesitated. He never was the type to stammer but this time he couldn't help it. There was a few times in battlefield when a foolish soldier made a great mistake or betray them for the enemy's triumph but even then Hades was never deterred. Far from being deterred, he would often smile, still relax as if nothing could ever bother him.
Hades demand immediately made Apollo to reply, "She was upset.... And ran away. We followed her closely behind her steps but suddenly out of nowhere, she disappeared."
Upset? Ran away?
Hades narrowed his purple gaze, "What had she heard?"
Even Apollo realize how odd that sounded. It wasn't, "Why was she upset?" Or "What was she running away from?" Instead, it was,
