Very sad, I know.
But it is for a reason.
And that reason is me writing my own novel!
Yeah, I know most of you don't care about me or my writing and only cared about the world of Shadow Slave, but I hope that my writing captivated you enough so that you can give my original story a shot.
I cannot really promise extraordinary writing or anything.

Now that my shamelessness has been satisfied, I would like to give one final message about MOC.
It was certainly one of the most satisfying experiences of my life.
Waking up every day to read all the new comments was a highlight.
Knowing that people genuinely enjoyed my little fanfic enough to read it all and keep up with my shitty upload schedule was shocking, to say the least.
The fanfic started because I wanted to play Shadow Slave D&D, but everyone hated it, so we never actually played it.
I really liked the OC I made for it, though.
Which, if you couldn't tell,
was Alucard.
Yeah, Al was the reason this story started and why it kept going.
I feel like he is one of the most unique characters I have seen because of his philosophy and development, which made it very enjoyable to write.
I will not be deleting the fanfic, by the way.
I won't update it, but it will always be there because I have grown attached to the story I have written and the story that got me into writing.
I just hope you readers will enjoy future endeavors as much as you enjoyed MOC.
Seriously, big shout out to every reader who decided to take time out of their day to read MOC. I hope you find something equally as enjoyable to read in the future.

If it wasn't for the story G3 wrote, I probably would have never gotten into novels at all, let alone become an actual writer.
I have a lot of complaints with the story and the direction it is going in, but I can never seriously call Shadow Slave garbage or say I truly hate Shadow Slave.
It will always be a story I remember and a story I care for.
