The first time Evan met a dragon was when he was over thirty years old, a little boy only as tall as an adult's knee.
The Elf race all loved flowers and plants, and Evan was no exception. The boy frequently crossbred many novel flower varieties; around the treehouse where he lived, all kinds of flowers vied to show off their beauty, never fading.
That year, Evan wanted to find a new type of flower for his garden. He secretly evaded the guards and sneaked outside alone. Walking almost to the end of the Elf forest, Evan still couldn't find any novel flowers, and feeling a bit disappointed, he kicked away a small stone at his feet.
"Ouch, who threw that at me!"
A childish voice rang out, followed by a bright red head poking out.
It was a very pretty little girl with red hair, her eyes also sparkling like two rubies, only her forehead had a red patch, as if it had just been hit by something.
