At times I felt I was this person, at other times I felt I was another.
I felt like a vessel holding too many things, needing someone else to name me so I could determine who I was.
Confused, I looked up at the hazy figure: "Who am I?"
The hazy figure seemed to laugh again: "Who you are, only you know. If I say you are him, does that mean you are really him? Think carefully, who are you, really?"
I shook my head, not knowing how to answer.
Closing my eyes, there were too many images in my mind, from the distant primordial era to the future yet to come.
I tried to recall every frame in my mind. I saw a person, one who had appeared in my memories from ancient times until now.
I saw the little boy look up at me, his childish voice articulating clearly: "My name is Thuy Tu, what's your name?"
The image flashed, I saw he was now grown. Although his appearance wasn't exactly the same, I was certain it was him.
