The year is 2985. Robots roam the world and animals are losing their homes. Most animals are now being
experimented on. Only a few species are left alive. Capybaras, dogs, cats, raccoons, and rats. Capybaras are soon to be extinct in a few years. A certain family of raccoons are fighting for their lives. The youngest, Kenny, is always going out for food. This is a struggle because the robots roaming the cities are always on watch for animals to steal and experiment on. As Kenny was rummaging through the garbage can, he heard a loud clanking noise. The sound of robot footsteps. He quickly buried himself under the trash to hide. The robot peaked over into the trash. "I swear I had heard rummaging through here. Oh well." He closed the lid. "Shit! I can't open this kid myself..." Exclaimed Kenny. He tried running into the sides to tip over the trash, but he was too small and not strong enough. He couldn't yell because a robot would definitely hear him. He tried crawling up the side, but with no success. He was doomed. There was no way to get out. Soon, the lid opened up. A large round metal face glared at Kenny. His eyes turned wide and he started trying to tip over the can again. But it was too late and the robot had grabbed him. He was trying to claw his way out of its arms but it's hard metal shell was not getting scratched a bit. "Let me go! Please! I have a family!" The robot looked at Kenny and walked away with him. Kenny, still trying to claw away, got an idea. If he clawed at its robotic eyes, then he could escape while It was blinded. When he tried, he couldn't reach. He simply gave up. But when he had given up, a dark figure was seen running up behind the robot. It was Kenny's mother. "Let go of my son you fucker!" She jumped on it's back and crawled to it's head. She dug her claws into its eyes. The robot crabbed the raccoon by the skin and threw her onto the road. Kenny saw a semi-truck light heading towards his defenseless mother. "MOM!! MOVE MOM PLEASE!" Kenny yelled. The robot fell over and released Kenny. Kenny ran to his mother. But before he could run to his mother, the lights grew closer. He kept running but it felt like he was going in slow motion. The lights grew bigger, and bigger. He got into the road and grabbed her mother. "Mom please get up! I'm trying to help you! Please I'm begging don't do this!" Kenny exclaimed, with tears forming in his eyes. "Son... son... get out of the road... Now..." "No! No! I'm not leaving you here! Hurry, the truck is getting closer! Please mom... please..." His mother grabbed him and threw him back to the sidewalk. "NOO!"
