"Dr. Banner and Professor Connors are highly likely to ignore my arrangements tomorrow and rashly charge onto North Brother Island."
In the Batcave, Batman considered every possible scenario that could occur during the battle against Anti-Venom—including the possibilities of Hulk and the Lizard Professor losing control.
Even Ant-Man, Hank Pym, whom he had never directly contacted, was factored into Batman's plan.
The previous battlefield had been the Adirondack Mountains; now it was North Brother Island, extremely close to the center of New York City.
Batman had to account for every individual who might get involved.
Among these contingencies: the "David Plan" to counter Ant-Man, the "Battering Ram Plan" to counter Hulk, and the "Ouroboros Plan" to counter the Lizard Professor—all were incorporated into the "Anti-Anti-Venom Plan."
"North Brother Island has been uninhabited for years due to the accumulation of nearly every virus known to mankind, and because of the 1904 shipwreck, over a thousand people died near the island."
"In urban legends, it's practically indistinguishable from hell on earth."
Batman reviewed the information he had gathered on North Brother Island:
"Using this place as the battlefield against Anti-Venom—once successful, I can fully utilize the trust fund to purchase the island from the government and turn it into another operational base."
"This will perfectly compensate for the flaw in the Batwing I'm about to design, which won't be able to land or dock at the City Hall Batcave."
Batman's plans were never just single-purpose; he always considered multiple angles, achieving several goals with one strategy.
Correspondingly, Batman would prepare multiple contingency plans for the same objective.
Aside from being too close to South Brother Island—which might allow Hulk and the Lizard Professor to interfere—North Brother Island was otherwise a battlefield choice that was perfect to the point of flawless.
Time was of the essence. Three hours later, a battlesuit utterly different from the Arkham suit Batman currently wore stood ready.
This suit no longer exposed the chin; it was seamless from head to toe, with the face forming a single integrated unit—neither eyes nor chin were exposed.
For this operation, Batman would no longer rely on fear or Peter Parker's meticulous observations; he needed data collection on Anti-Venom from the Oracle AI.
Thus, the opaque full-face mask was actually a screen from the inside, providing real-time analysis of Anti-Venom's comprehensive data.
The suit wasn't pure black but a camouflage blend of earthy yellow, dark green, and dark red—though the pauldrons, arm guards, chest plate, and other areas remained pitch black, with armor thicker than the Arkham suit.
The cape on the back was eliminated by Batman and replaced with a design resembling fighter jet wings, simultaneously housing a high-pressure oxygen storage tank, a potent virus neutralizer, and a short-range jet propulsion device.
The armor consisted of five layers of protection from inside to out: carbon fiber, a full memory fiber layer, ceramic composite, liquid fluid armor, and an external impact-resistant armor layer.
"Dad, is this battlesuit for me?"
Venom, inside the ecological chamber, had been eagerly eyeing the new suit and asked expectantly.
"No, Robin." Batman's voice was low. "This is the suit I'm using to fight Anti-Venom."
"Oh..." Venom's eye corners drooped slightly, but it quickly adjusted its mood. "Then when will I get my own battlesuit?"
"Soon." Batman replied.
Venom nodded like a pecking chick. It watched as Batman donned the new suit, the astonishingly thick chest plate displaying the bat emblem.
Tilting its head in thought for a moment, the black symbiote substance slowly writhed, gathering the irregular white lightning-patterned material together to form a small white bat emblem.
"You'll have your own emblem, Robin."
Batman said, then picked up the ecological chamber and carried it to the Batmobile, placing it on the small seat next to the driver's position.
"Where are we going?" Venom kept its head raised, eyes never leaving Batman.
"To North Brother Island." Batman said. "You'll fight with me tomorrow, but you must obey my orders."
"Then... if Robin behaves, can I get one—no, two—chocolates?" Venom's eyes lit up.
"Yes."
Batman entered the Batmobile, activated it in silent mode, and sped into the subway tunnels. At one junction, he veered into the sewer pipes, then followed them into the East River.
This time, the apparent opponent was only Anti-Venom, but Batman had already prepared to treat Anti-Venom, Hulk, Ant-Man, and the Lizard Professor as simultaneous adversaries.
He would spend nearly the entire night setting up on North Brother Island.
In the Middle East, there were numerous companies offering helicopter rentals, such as Falcon in the UAE, which even had models specialized for VIP transport and emergency medical services.
Leading her newly formed rescue team, Silver Sable—clad in her signature gray-white battlesuit—appeared there. Without any haggling, she rented three helicopters and flew toward the location provided by Peter Parker.
"President Silver Sable, I keep feeling like ever since Batman showed up, everything about us has been arranged... though it's not exactly a bad thing."
Beside Silver Sable was the burly man with a thick beard who had once been pinned to the ground by Batman with just a glance on the second basement level of Oscorp Industries.
"We've left the company; now we're here as a rescue team. You should call me Captain." Silver Sable didn't even glance at the bearded man. "Of course I know I've been arranged, but can you think of a reason for me to refuse Batman—or even Peter Parker?"
The bearded man shook his head.
"Exactly, I can't either." Silver Sable still didn't look at him. "Transforming and expanding Silver Sable Security has always been my dream. Rather than saying they've used and arranged me, it's more like I'm riding their wave."
"We're about to reach the spot Peter marked on the map. Snap to attention—lookouts, observe carefully. We absolutely cannot let the target escape."
Silver Sable pointed at the map, then felt her tone was off, like her old mercenary days. She quickly corrected herself:
"Our objective now is rescue. Once we find Tony Stark, escort him back to New York immediately."
"Understood, Captain."
Batman was deploying his plan on North Brother Island, while Silver Sable was searching for Tony Stark in the Middle East.
At that moment, inside the Ten Rings cave, Tony Stark—with Ethan's help—was beginning to don his armor.
He wasn't waiting for the deadline given by the Ten Rings leader, Abu Bakr, to act; he hadn't even tested the completed suit.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
"Open the door! Open up!"
Outside the cave where they were, Ten Rings members were desperately pounding on the iron door Tony had locked from the inside.
"Ethan, hide behind me in a bit. Once I take out these guys, we'll escape this hellhole together."
Inside the massive silver-gray armor, Tony Stark was in the final stages of boot-up. He said this to Ethan, who was helping him suit up.
It was estimated to need another minute, but right then, a gunshot rang out from beyond the sealed iron door. The door made a crisp sound, and one Ten Rings member collapsed.
Tony knew it wasn't infighting among the Ten Rings; they were using guns to force the lock open, and the fallen member had just been unlucky enough to be hit by a ricochet.
Boom!
The iron door was kicked open, and the bomb Tony had pre-rigged behind it detonated with a roar, sending the Ten Rings members screaming to the ground.
"Forty seconds left." Tony gritted his teeth against the heat and dust from the explosion.
Rat-tat-tat...
Footsteps echoed faintly from outside the cave. Tony stared fixedly at the armor's boot-up progress bar.
"I'll buy time, Tony." Ethan, as if long resolved, ran to the cave entrance, picked up a gun, and fired wildly while charging out.
Ethan wasn't aiming at the Ten Rings members; his goal was merely to draw their attention and buy Tony time.
But the Ten Rings showed no mercy just because his muzzle wasn't pointed at them.
A burst of submachine gun fire rang out, and Ethan took multiple hits, collapsing to the ground.
The next second, Tony Stark's suit finished loading. His eyes reddened, and the metal faceplate clanged shut.
