From the gloomy busy street dotted with crook building,tall, dark and imposing to the permanent red and purple skies with a view owls and vultures on occasionally. The skies bore curtains of grey clouds swimming in snail's speed,the only heavenly body was full like the moon releasing its deem radianceloke and invisible sort of gas.
Down to the terrestrials they walked,rode in jack o' lantern carriages dangling with black bells and two lanterns on both sides of the carriage,they looked more like candelabrum,its candles like a crooked finger with its shadowy green lights covered by thick transparent glass. They were few state cars as well, long and curved like a gene kettle.They were all of the same colors either grey like the clouds or black.
Celestian in one of this buildings,the lower apartment where he could see the clear asphalt side walks,cars and carts parked by the kerb.Sebastian,his brother was saying something by the fireplace "there's nothing of interest here in Ghost cave,it is better we go to selevania l_" "shut up"Celestian cut in dryly and then went on immediately "you're the man of action,I know,but you need theories_and we can't go to Selevania because those witches would be watching" Sebastian raised his brows "the best way to shut me up Celestian.By the way the way I ain't kidding when I say we've got a lot of work to do."

Celestian rose to helis feet,he took up his cloak and slipped in a bottle of something like pixie dust and a dagger.
"We should be going by now. I hate the owls night and from here to howl estate?_" Celestian paused he looked rather thoughtful but his brother broke in "there are a lot of things around there Celestian."he stated as fact but as his twin brother moved up to the door he found himself trotting.
They had whistled a cab to get them to the estate, a small community with singularly furnished homes owning to rich demons,there were also a few broken homes too and dark allies turning up to different streets entirely. Sebastian took out a compass rhelat was tucking slowly indicating they were one a safe side. He whistled playfully "good old compass.it never fails me." but Celestian was already moving towards an inn that was close by. There were a lot of people in the cisy drinking parlour mostly in groups,playing cards or drinking.There were ordinaries as well but in little groups far from other inhabitants.
Sebastian waited by the bar counter while his brother went ahead to speak with an old man with mismatched eyes
"Klaus arises at six so we need to head on through Green stone ally.Its five already"Celestian said returning.Sebastian snorted "you think Klaus would be happy to see us?" "Honestly I really don't care,wherever Klaus we'll find Jury"
"Hmm_"was only what Sebastian could mumble and soon they were walking down the road until they arrived at a small green signpost with a words inscribed in block Greenstone Alley
The alley from the start was dark with thin crooked branches sticking out on both sides of the walls. The brothers exchanged glances
"You think this is another pit we are falling into?"Sebastian asked "it's not your idea so I am fine" he stretched out his hand towards his brother like he was expecting a handshake.It was a usual act when the light within them was to be evoked. He received the hand and on contact both hands began to glow,they turned back to face the alley's entrance "time to find you Klaus"Celestian said.
The duo moved in,walking cautiously side by side. There were eerie sounds more than the hooting of owls or the cawing of crows. They could hear running feet and echoing laughter of children that were not even seen
"Can't wait to get out of here"Sebastian whispered to him but he didn't respond,he looked around him swaying his glowing hand to see the shapes around him
Why don't people come around here?"Sebastian wondered aloud
"Klaus is a dreaded man and its entrance is quite_wow"Celestian replied"yeah you're right, who would want to in here by this time"he realized but then he thought his heart froze with the way Celestian held on to his hand,it was full of fear and alert "hold_"Celestian whispered"it's better we keep moving than waiting to see_"he felt it would be wiser to check he's compass and just as he had feared it was ticking violently "damnit"
A threat was coming ahead of them but they couldn't tell what it was so they stood side by side with their hearts in their hands. Celestian was bold to sway his bright hand forward,the tension deepened_until_a gingered furred cat stopped out frightening the duo.Sebastian could have laughed realizing it was just an ordinary feline that had frightened them.
"A cat wouldn't hurt,would it?"he said,the cat stared at them with its large green orbs that forced him to look back at his compass. Tho his dismay it was ticking wildly,that was when four more of its kind stepped out
"Step back Sebastian!"Celestian warned stepping back as well. To their surprise these seeming harmless feline transformed swiflly I black powder into hooded bodies tall,slim and swift looking. The brothers didn't care to know what was hidden in the darkness of the hood,the obvious red eyes were enough to tell them they were in danger
"Hell"Sebastian mumbled
These creatures charged forward in such paranormal swiftness,both brothers were quick as well drawing up their enchanted daggers
"Spirit ignites"they chorused. Their weapons lengthen and gave off a dark green radiance. Slashing at their attackers who fought skillfully with the large sleeves of their brown robes.
Celestian was able to drive his dagger into one who instantly returned as dust, Sebastian was hit with a spell and he flew breaking the dangerous flight by colliding into e dust bi. Both brothers lost connection and the lights went out."Sebastian!"he called out desperately,looking wildly in the darkness, he was aware of the loud swishing of the robes. Then he heard the metallic sound of the trash can and there after his brother's hurtful groan.
The creatures were whispering like they were chanting something,moving in a circle with him him in the center. He tried thrusting his dagger but instead he struck blindly
"Sebastian!"he called again
"I can't _see a thing,I can't even get up"came the distant reply in the midst of the loud sneering whispers
"Put on your defense Celestian,they are invoking something"came Sebastian's voice again but before he could a voice interrupted them and they were grateful for it
"Show's over. Get out of here"even as the voice spoke torches were lit one after the other illuminating everything in the alley.
There were screams from their attackers and they vanished instantly.
Celestian hurried to where his brother lay without minding who the last speaker was
"Are you alright?"he asked trying to lift him up,the green light casted a shadow in them as the stranger approached them.
He was on a brown tweed coat and a hat that made him look more intimidating.
The brothers lifted their heads to him
"The Covenant brothers,never thought to see you this way"there was a smile on his pale pink lips even as he spoke "you idiot"Celestian could only say and a groan from his brother "let's take him up to Klaus' Again spells are never friendly kinds"
**Both men took up the injured and assisted him through the alley,the torches burned even as they broke out to a clear asphalt.
There was a gorgyle,a beastly head it was with a tongue sticking out,their third companion pushed in the tongue and the center opened the earth trembled as a tall wide mansion sprang out guided by underground roots and bushes.
There was light on the inside so Klaus was surely awake with every other member of the household.A two headed manservant fondly called seames was at the door to receive them
"Welcome master Jury"was what one of the heads said with a fair bow,the other was gazing at the new guests "should I get the nurses _" "shut up you moron we'll get the nurses Sylvester!"the the grumpy reply of the other head.
