Rayborn Azaelis Has Died.
In a small, simple town lived a young boy. His name you ask?
Rayborn.
His mother named him that, after he was born on a warm sunny day.
Rayborn was born with a lot of things many people didnt receive when they were young, like love and attention from both of his parents.
Although he received a lot of love and affection, to the point one might think it's a little too much, Rayborn thought otherwise.
His life was simple, everyday, he would wake up, say good morning, eat breakfast, go outside, play, come home, eat lunch, read a book, eat dinner, sleep.
He thought nothing of it. He wasn't taught to think anything was wrong about the fact that he wasnt allowed to have friends.
I'm sure you've read a lot of coming of age books where a character rebels and leaves their parents but then they realize, their parents matter more to them than freedom or whatever, but this wasn't the case with our Rayborn.
He was a good kid. And he wasn't ever taught to be bad. No one evil ever approached him, so he never even knew it was possible to be bad.
Day after day in his normal, sheltered life. This young boy grew up to be a young man at the age of 15.
"Good morning mom!"
"Good morning ray, how are you today"
"I'm feeling well! how about you?"
"I'm great"
After that short conversation with his mother, Rayborn went to run a few quick errands at the market place.
"Good morning Florence, how are you today?"
"I'm doing great, thanks for asking. Oh by the way, these tomatos are on sale"
"Ah, is that so? How much are these then?"
"Only 10 sheckles, great bargain am I right?"
"Yes! Thank you Florence"
Although his day was going as normal as it possibly could, Rayborn felt... Odd? He felt as though something wasn't quite right but wasn't able to put his finger on it.
And right as he zoned out for a second while saying his goodbye to florance a huge massive explosion occurred behind him.
'What.?'
It was the first ever time that this boy has ever heard something so loud that it left his ear ringing.
He instinctively covered his ears, hoping the ringing would end, and the screaming of the people in that direction too.
'Wait. Behind me. Screaming. My house. My parents are still in my house!'
The boy immediately ran towards the fire that had spread due to the massive explosion. He did not care about how hot it was, he just had to save his parents!
"Mom! Dad!"
He screamed as loud as he could. Even though he was really far from them, he screamed, and he yelled, for the people that loved and cared for him. And he ran. As fast as he could, he ran.
"Mom!
