Everyone's attention was centred on the stage again, where they wanted to retake the scene right before the kiss. Theo fought to control herself, her teeth grinding against each other, claws already outstretched as Zeke leaned in for the kiss.

"I'm not kissing anyone till the play," Zeke abruptly said, cutting the tension and silence in half, "You should count yourselves lucky I come to rehearsals in the first place," He said it directly to the teachers and then he walked off stage.

Theo quickly turned around and braced both hands on the wall. Her claws slowly retracted, and she sucked in deep breaths. Only heavens know what she would have done if they had actually kissed.
