Wilda felt miserable... She never thanked him, not once just gave him the cold shoulder... For over a year! How the hell was she supposed to live with this?
"Please wake up... I'll be better... please". The tears fell freely.
It has already been a week since he lost consciousness and no signs of waking up. Wilda has been there, taking care of him, talking to him, sometimes crying and other times the guilt just ate her up. Today she had gone to buy some flowers so that the room doesn't look too gloomy even though it was a hospital. Getting back to the hospital the sight that greeted her made her freeze.
Carl was seated looking around and wondering why he was there but suddenly a figure stepped into the room. Stunning! She was breathtakingly beautiful with her long black hair and intense violet eyes that was... Shocked? But something else was going on with him. His heartbeat kept increasing... He felt pain looking at her, the type that tore at his heart violently but at the same time he felt glad... Relief even to see her and with the way his heart was racing, he knew he had a crush on her... But just don't remember who she was.
"Um... Who are you?"
"Am your wife"
It came out of her mouth without thinking but she didn't regret it. Carl on the other hand stopped breathing for a second. He had so many questions but one thing was for sure, he wasn't mad about it. He watched as she approached him and even looked into his eyes.
"I thought I'd never see those eyes again" she whispered but Carl's heart was practically racing and he felt his face getting hot. And she was even prettier up close... Her eyes were quite mesmerizing.
"I'll go call the doctor" and just like that she left practically trying to stop the tears from falling as she ran to get the doctor. She informed her parents and they practically flew to the hospital and it was a gathering of love as her parents, especially her mum fuss over him.
The following day, he was discharged and Wilda insisted on taking him home, he lost his memories but she wanted him to have better ones so she took it upon herself to take better care of him than she did before while still helping him get back his lost memories. She was willing to make it right and not out of pity...
