Chapter 19 - First Mission (1)

She took me to one of the tailors that they have within the tower and the shop itself is quite nice. Fancy suits are all over the place with plenty of variety to each of them.

I kind of expected to be given a hard time over wanting another suit instead of an actual costume. But surprisingly it wasn't like that in the slightest.

"Hello, Hello! I'm Junji. I handle all the tailoring of suits here so I'd love to help." He says with a big smile across his face.

"An all black suit is what I could use. That would be perfect." I respond while scratching my head.

"Of course. Of course, easy enough." He says before turning around.

He immediately walks away from us and I can hear him starting to work already. This guy is definitely a hard worker which is a good sign.

~Once the new suit is on, what would you like altered? (^^).

Give me more of a slicked back hairstyle and purple eyes. That'll do for the time being, I prefer to keep the black hair for now.

~Yes Sir! ^^.

"After this we'll get to work with finding the Iron Requiem." Lumina speaks up, her kind tone still there.

I don't think she's the type of person to be mean in the slightest which is kind of nice. Makes it a lot easier to get along with her without having some sort of issue.

"Sounds good to me." I reply with a calm tone.

After a couple of minutes he comes out from the back of the shop with an all black suit, it looks perfect. But don't people usually need measurements to make sure a suit fits properly?

"It'll adjust to your size automatically. Praise the future, am I right? Hahahaha." Junji says as he laughs.

"Right, ha." I let out a nervous chuckle before taking the suit to one of the changing rooms.

It doesn't take me long to swap the suits in the slightest, the all black one is definitely more of a slick look. It's nicer than the one I used to wear for work.

Within a couple of a moments my hair also changes, along with the color of my eyes. The slicked back black hair was definitely quite a good look with this new suit.

I left the changing room after that was done and kept my clothes with me.

"Don't worry about the old clothes, I'll send them back to your room Luck guy." Junji speaks with excitement.

I could tell that he was excited by how nice the suit came out and how it looks on me. Lumina couldn't really see it so I don't expect much of a reaction from her.

"I'm ready to go." I say with a bit of a serious tone.

I hand junji my clothes before walking back over to Lumina.

"Enjoy the suit. I'll see you again I'm sure!" Junji shouts with enthusiasm.

"I will, thank you." I respond loud enough for him to hear.

Lumina didn't say too much as we left the shop and start to make our way out of the tower. It was different to see how the people in the lobby now... Since I'm technically a hero as well.

"When we get back you'll need to complete a test so they can determine your ranking." Lumina says softly.

"Alright, doesn't sound like a problem to me." I reply back calmly.

"I'll definitely be quite curious to see how strong you are." Lumina says with some excitement in her voice.

"Me too." I respond.

After leaving the tower we made our way to one of the quite sides of the city. The Caelmaris district.

It was filled with a lot of different housing options for people and a couple of your standard stores for people to shop at. It wasn't as packed as the other parts of the city.

"You really think this Iron guy would be here?" I ask quietly.

"There's a possibility he is. It isn't anything that's guaranteed." Lumina responds while keeping her voice down.

I never thought I'd be exploring other parts of the city since I never really left the business district. I've been there my whole life basically so it was kind of normal for me.

The district of Caelmaris is definitely a place I wish I could've grown up in since it seems a lot more peaceful. There's always something happening in the business district or people are getting hurt.

Just reminds me of what happened at my apartment there...

I wonder how Eiji is doing. I meant to ask if anyone at the tower checked since I didn't get the chance... But I guess not. I'm sure he is perfectly fine.

My brother is definitely a fighter at heart so it is dumb to worry about him so much.

Shatter!! I could just barely hear a bottle break down one of the alleyways. "Could that have been him?" I question while facing the direction of the noise.

"I don't think he'd want us to know where he is. Iron Requiem also relies heavily on powerful guns that are linked up to his power to amplify things." Lumina responds without wasting a breath.

Guns. I forget they exist sometimes with the amount of people that have powers in this world of mine. Cops do have guns but they aren't around as often as the commission or just heroes in general.

~I think it is time for another quest!!! (ノ*0*)ノ.

[Quest]

Beat Iron Requiem without killing him.

Reward: Skill point, chance increase of your choosing, and 4000 coins. Some experience but you don't need to worry about that. >•<.

Do you accept? Y/N.

Yes I accept of course. I didn't plan to kill anyone at the moment to begin with so I don't understand why you'd give that as the requirement.

"Iron Requiem is definitely a priority right now though. We can't let him escape." Lumina says while trying not to be too loud.

"If he's here, he won't escape." I reply confidently.

"Good. The people he killed a couple of days ago deserve justice." Lumina says while raising one of her arms.
