Chapter 639: Spineless Arrogance - 1
James immediately got up from his seat and opened the door to see the panting soldier.
"Where are they?"
"My Lord, they have been sighted a kilometer away. By now, they should be arriving within a minute."
"Good work informing me. Rest for a while and get back to your work."
The soldier looked a bit confused.
"My Lord, what about the preparations?" he slowly asked.
Whenever the convoys would arrive, the entire castle would go into high alert mode to make sure the party didn't have anything to complain about. Because they had the courage to nitpick even the smallest things, as if the castle belonged to them.
They had even gone as far as complaining about a horse suddenly taking a dump in the stables, far back in a corner of the castle inner walls that had come into their line of sight while they were looking around, as if it was the most heinous thing they had ever seen.
