After the floods forced us out of our home twice, we spent weeks in a small rented place just to stay safe. Thanks to the support some of you gave during that time, we were able to manage rent, protect our animals, and get through a very difficult period. I'm truly grateful for that kindness.
Now that the water has dried, we've returned to our land, but our house—built mostly from dirt and mud bricks—was badly damaged and can no longer protect us from the weather. Rebuilding has become unavoidable.
I had previously set a Patreon rebuild tier at $100, but I understand that was too high. I've now reduced it to $50 to make it more accessible for anyone who wishes to help.
