Ilaya woke up from the grumble of her stomach and rubbed her tummy. She then looked at her watch
It's 7:30 now and the sun is already gone. It seems that I've slept about one and a half hour.
'It's time of the night now huh'
She got up from the bed, then washed her face and brushed her teeth in the bathroom. She combed her hair and put some cheap cologne to at least make herself a proper human.
She believes that women, no matter how cheap the perfume they use, will always be beautiful if the woman is beautiful to begin with.
'Hehe, it's not my fault if my beauty alone is enough to offset the other negative aspects of me. Like wearing cheap clothes, watch, and cologne'
And I don't really care about their opinions anyway. I even want the people that will have interest in me to be off put through my style, so that they will not bother me and annoy me in the process.
She finished making herself presentable and headed out of the hotel to find some affordable food in her current saving mode. She really needed to save money now as 25000 yen is the only money she have.
I have to eat to keep moving and counting the meals that I will use my money to eat. I will eat now so that's 1. I'll also need to eat three times a day tomorrow, so, 1+3=4. Plus the day after tomorrow is three again, so 4+3=7. How much is one meal? At least 1000yen, at most 1500yen from onigiri alone and I'll also need water.

Ilaya then looked for a convenience store and found one by asking around. She headed there immediately and bought an onigiri and coffee. Then, she paid the cashier and headed outside the store and started walking to find a nice place to eat. She then came across a park and sat on a bench at the corner. She then started eating her meal as she looked around and saw many people resting all around the park
Some of them are couples cuddling around and the other is people resting and chatting, listening to the sound of breeze and the rustling of the trees. She heard their conversation.
"The city is now full of danger thanks to those people causing a ruckus and turning this city into a mess. I wonder if the law enforcement is doing their job right?
Said the man to his friend. His friend then, nodded and agreed
"Yeah, did you hear the news by the way? They said that 9 people were killed from the shootout in the street not far from here. I even saw the pictures in the internet"
"Really? Do you think that the siren that I heard just a while ago is the police that responded to the scene?"
"Yeah, I thought so too. I also heard it, but I thought it's just an ambulance or a firetruck. I got the shock when I surfed the internet and saw that the shootout happened so near at my place. With so many death at that"
The man sighed and said
"I think it's wise if we stay at home at this time. We don't know if another fight will happen near us and get implicated"
"I agree, well just chat online time to time and go hangout if the sun is up"
The two then continued chatting then leave the park
Ilaya processed the news that she heard and couldn't help but feel the urgency of having a phone.

In the park shortly after Ilaya left, a man wearing civilian clothing got up from the bench and followed the path that Ilaya took. The moment he left the shade of the trees, he fixed his hat and a tattoo of a serpent in his wrist can be seen due to the lights of the buildings.
He then crossed the road and walked while sneaking a glance at Ilaya in the distance. He saw her looking curiously here and there, then, she abruptly looked back. Thanks to the path having many people, he managed to hide in the corner of a building.
He clutched his chest and calmed down his rapidly beating heart.
'That was close! She almost found me and failed my mission! What a beast like instinct. She's almost like the boss, I have to be careful'
The man is a spy that Kyora Ivana, the Yakuza boss, ordered to follow Ilaya and obtain intelligence of everything about her. From where she is staying, the people involved with her, everything that he can find
The man then walked out of his hiding spot like an ordinary person and continued to walk while looking at his phone. He then glanced sneakily at Ilaya at the distance, he noticed that she's still looking in his direction.
He began to panic and force himself to play it cool and continue to walk. He didn't dare to look at her and he simply looked ahead. Then, he was near her… and then passed her. He walked for a bit more then stopped. He looked around like he's looking for someone.
He then took a glance at her and to his surprise, he saw that she's still looking in the direction where the park is located with a frown on her face. Then, the woman winced from pain, and she turned around and continued to walk. Her expression was full of confusion and wariness. She looked at the faces people while walking
She then passed him and continued on her way. The man then tilts his head and looks at his phone. From the side, it seems like a man is surfing on his phone but the truth is, he's confused
'Did she notice me or not? No, maybe she noticed me but didn't know who's the one watching her? I'll follow her from afar to confirm it'
With that, the man waited for Ilaya to distance herself about 30 meters and continue following her again. But this time, the woman just continued on her way till she reached and entered the hotel that she's staying in.
The man then crossed the road and entered a restaurant at the front of the hotel. He ordered a food and sit next to the glass window, then looked at the entrance of the hotel

Meanwhile at the park, a man under the shades of trees looked at the place in the distance, where the woman a while ago stopped walking and then looked at his hiding spot. Because of the distance, she didn't see anyone and continued on her way. The man then harrumph and said
"Hmmph! Too bad she's sharp, I'll look for someone else"
The man then turned his back and entered the dim park
