But even though his speed reached standard levels, how could the speed of Kamehameha be something to underestimate?
In the gorgeous night sky, a blue beam of light chased a figure wreathed in purple aura all over the place.
"Using Haki counts as a sneak attack? If you had transmigrated into the One Piece world, go say that to Shanks." Wukong increased the power of the Kamehameha in his hands, chasing the fleeing Zamasu at full speed through the sky.
"If you can convince him not to use Haki, I'll admit you're awesome…" Wukong grinned.
In truth, even without Haki, Shanks was still basically an invincible existence—the possessor of the Face-Fruit ability. In short:

The dark Kamehameha in Zamasu's hands rotated with his movements and smashed directly against Wukong's incoming Kamehameha.
"Damn it, hold steady for me!" Zamasu used all his strength just to barely resist a tiny bit, but he still remained in a severely crushed state.
"It's useless!" Wukong shouted from afar.
"The Super Saiyan mode I'm using now boosts my power by several times compared to your current strength." Wukong held the Kamehameha with both hands, his qi surging endlessly—almost like an unending source of power.
"Believe it or not, if I so much as gently push right now… the ki cannon you fired will be completely worn down—and then blast you apart yourself." Wukong warned him not to act rashly.
Hearing this whole explanation, Zamasu's face twisted in rage, baring his teeth.
"Damn it! Do I have to use the forbidden technique here?" he hesitated. If he used it now, there was an eighty to ninety percent chance he could escape completely.
He might even counterkill the opponent directly—but there was no guarantee the other side didn't also have a forbidden technique.
If two full-power Super Saiyans clashed like that, Douluo Star would probably explode.
"That guy isn't planning to use the forbidden technique… right?" Wukong muttered inwardly.
If the opponent used it, he'd have to repay in kind. But once he used that forbidden art…
Never mind how much soul power he'd lose—that was the least of the problems.
The real horror was whether the combined aura and pressure of two Super Saiyans would crush the entire Douluo Continent.
Even so, if the opponent used a forbidden move and he used one too, Wukong was fully confident he would win.
Because in the original Dragon Ball Super manga, Super Saiyan Blue's performance wasn't nearly as pathetic as in the anime. When Black Goku faced Super Saiyan Blue in the manga, he was beaten so badly he questioned life.
But in the anime, Blue's record was trash—dominated endlessly by Black Goku's Rosé.
He was even suppressed at times by Zamasu, a half-baked Kaiōshin with incomplete strength.
During the Tournament of Power, Universe 6's Caulifla and Kale fused into Kefla, but they were nowhere near as invincible as they were in the anime—they only fought Son Gohan to a draw.
And Gohan's strength at that time wasn't even equal to Super Saiyan Blue. Meaning Blue should be able to defeat Kefla.
But in the anime, Blue was just one-sidedly abused. In short:
The weaker someone was in the manga, the stronger they were in the anime.The stronger someone was in the manga, the weaker they were in the anime.
Speechless. Completely speechless.
The manga was produced by Toriyama's original team, while the anime was Toei messing with the original plot and altering countless things.
So if you want to see real power levels—read the manga. Don't watch the anime. The manga fills holes; the anime digs them, and then buries itself inside them.
If the opponent used a forbidden technique, he'd very likely transform into Rosé, because he inherited Black Goku's power—that is, Goku's body after being stolen by Zamasu.
But Wukong himself could transform into Super Saiyan Blue. He could only hope the system followed manga power levels. If it followed anime power levels, Wukong basically wouldn't have any advantage.
He hadn't even used Full Power Blue yet. Full Power Blue meant suppressing all Blue aura inward. In the original manga, Kakarot used that technique to quickly learn Beerus' destruction skill—and used it to teach fused Zamasu a lesson. If not for Zamasu using Xiao Wu as a hostage, he probably would've been erased into dust.
He wouldn't die—he was immortal—but turning into dust was definitely possible.
"I can't hold it anymore!"Zamasu instantly retracted his dark Kamehameha.
Judging by his expression, he was about to activate the forbidden technique.
"No way I'm letting you succeed!" Wukong saw through his plan instantly, maximizing his Super Saiyan amplification.
He surged forward—and before Zamasu could even chant the forbidden technique—
Wukong kicked him squarely in the stomach.
Zamasu vomited a mouthful of blood, his expression contorted, his face pale.
Wukong followed up with a left hook, catching him off guard. Zamasu wasn't willing to lose—after dodging Wukong's third attack, he covered his leg in dark aura.
He launched kick after kick at Wukong, but…
The hit rate was embarrassingly low.
Growing annoyed, Wukong grabbed his leg, yanked him forward, smashed a fist into his face, then flung him far into the distance.
"Damn Saiyan… why, why can't I awaken?" Zamasu howled helplessly in midair.
During his roar, he looked toward the sky.
His expression calmed—and a twisted smile crept across his face.
Because tonight…
Was full moon night.
And on a full moon night, when a Saiyan with a tail looks at the round moon—
You should know what happens.
At that moment, huge amounts of that… that… that light—whatever it was—
Anyway, a special kind of radiation would gather at a Saiyan's tail, then rush through the entire body, triggering Great Ape transformation.
