Chapter 2 - DAY 1:The day it all started

On the 19th of August 2025 it was the day everything changed. My cousin was over for the weekend as usual and we shared the same bed while sleeping. At night I heard very loud barking which woke me up. I go check it out, the sky was red and the surroundings looked rotten. I look around with shock and horror thinking maybe I was dreaming and I pinch myself but I wasn't dreaming this was real. I rub into the house and I wake my cousin up and I tell her to follow me out. We get out and she also reacts the same way I did 'shocked'. She asks me what is going on and I tell her I also don't know but I tell her we will investigate tomorrow and that we should go sleep.
