The butler walked over respectfully: "God, everything has been prepared as you instructed."
A hint of pleasure flickered in God R's eyes. He placed the teacup aside and slowly sat down in the armchair by the floor-to-ceiling window, elegantly crossing his legs.
"Then let's wait and see."
Today, he wore a well-tailored suit and a stable, dignified watch on his wrist. One hand propped his chin while the other lazily rested on his thigh. His distinct hand bones resembled the stretched arcs of a paper umbrella—elegant and exquisite.
The butler placed the black tea on the coffee table beside him and thoughtfully refilled it: "God, I can oversee things here. Would you like to rest first?"
"No need." The vision of the lawn below was reflected in God R's lowered gaze, his golden locks falling and shielding his eyes. "I thoroughly enjoy the process of taming prey. Leave me to oversee personally."
The butler glanced at the lawn below.
