When Reiko picked up the novel, it felt very familiar to him. He began opening the book page by page, reading it carefully while his head rested against a chair.

The longer he read, the more he realized what this novel contained. The most likely possibility was that these were historical figures turned into a novel.

He leaned back—then, once he fully realized it, he immediately sat upright. His face looked as if it had discovered a truth that had been concealed. Tsukishima was startled when he saw Reiko's sudden reaction.

"What happened, Lord Reiko?" Tsukishima asked, moving his body closer to Reiko's chair. He was very curious why Reiko reacted so strongly to an ordinary novel.

Reiko then closed the novel and placed it on the table.

His gaze turned serious. "As students, don't you learn about world history?" He looked at Tsukishima, who appeared confused.

Tsukishima answered hesitantly. "W-What? World h-history?" It was the first time he had ever heard of history. His body slightly moved away from Reiko as he sat back down, his face full of confusion.

Reiko crossed his arms and said, "Damn it… so this really was done by them…" Instantly, Reiko stood up and gritted his teeth, his gaze filled with irritation.

Tsukishima was extremely worried about what Reiko had said; he truly had no idea what was going on. Meanwhile, beside Tsukishima's seat—Ace was still lying unconscious in a miserable state.

Humans know nothing except their own sins—what would happen if they saw heaven and hell while doing either wrong or right?

Night arrived very quickly. All living beings needed rest from their heavy lives—within a single night, we could imagine how many problems occur in one day for every person who lives for the sake of temporary worldly material.

The next day…

Ace woke up in his bed. "Ugh… Huh? Is it already morning? I feel like…" He was confused by how fast time had passed. It felt like he had just met Reiko, who made him collapse for the entire night.

"KRINGG!!!" The school bell rang, signaling that class was about to begin.

Ace ran because he was very late. He greeted the school security guard. "Hello, sir!" He smiled, and the guard returned the smile. "Be careful, don't rush too much," the guard said.

Ace had already gone far as he ran, then hurried up two flights of stairs toward his classroom. When he arrived in front of the classroom door, all of his classmates were shocked because Ace made a lot of noise while running.

He asked the teacher before entering the classroom. "Sir, may I come in?" He waited patiently, feeling guilty for being late.

The teacher answered while continuing to stare at Ace, whose uniform was already messy.

"Oh, Ace, you're late for once." The teacher then gestured for Ace to enter the classroom.

"I was chased by a dog, sir, hehe." After that, Ace immediately entered without further hesitation.

When he saw Tsukishima sitting in the back right corner staring at him, at first Ace smiled while sitting at his seat in the middle right side…

However, Tsukishima suddenly gave Ace the middle finger while grinning mischievously!

Ace froze when he saw that. His hand itched to return the middle finger, but he restrained himself with all his strength and sat at his desk, even though his expression clearly showed how hard it was not to retaliate.

"Alright, students, I'll end today's lesson on ellipses here. I have something to take care of with my wife." After finishing his explanation of the mathematics topic on ellipses, the teacher immediately left the classroom.

"Yes, sir, thank you!" the students said.

Suddenly, a boy with orange hair and blue eyes, his mischievous-looking face shouting, "Ace, come here." He pulled something out of his bag.

Ace, who had been sitting in boredom among students chatting with their friends, immediately became enthusiastic and went over to him.

When he stood in front of him, the boy suddenly pulled out an adult magazine right in front of Ace's face. "ACE… LOOK AT THIS LATEST EDITION, DAMN IT… AHAHA!" His shout echoed throughout the classroom, making many people look at them.

Ace, who was suddenly shown an adult magazine right in front of him, stepped back shyly while blushing at the cover. "W-What… What are you doing, Shoryu? I DON'T LIKE THAT KIND OF THING!" He turned away, his cheeks flushed as Shoryu kept showing it to him.

Everyone in the class who witnessed this immediately began protesting against Shoryu.

One of them was Tsukishima. "Two idiots talking about their respective fetishes, huh. Interesting." Tsukishima said, his face full of sarcasm.

Then suddenly, a fairly tall woman with dark pink hair—her face very feminine, yet her personality stubborn—snatched the magazine from Shoryu's hand.

"Let me see." she said.

Not long after, she immediately threw it straight at Tsukishima's face, who was listening to music with his earphones.

"PLAKKK!" The magazine flew and hit Tsukishima's face very hard.

"…"

Ace and Shoryu fell silent, staring in shock at the woman's sudden action toward Tsukishima.

"This is the first time I've seen Tsukishima make such a stupid face… Pfftt…" said the pink-haired woman, holding back her laughter by covering her mouth with her arm.

Tsukishima immediately picked up the magazine, his face red and filled with anger as he looked at it in his hand.

"Sometimes in life… hehe~ come on Ace, we should buy some food…" Shoryu suddenly pushed Ace out of the classroom in a hurry when he saw how awkward the situation had become, his face extremely annoying.

The color of the sky already indicated that evening was approaching—the time when all students rushed home after the dismissal bell rang. "KRINGGG!!!"

Groups of students immediately poured out of the school, smiling, chatting, discussing subjects they liked, and talking about teachers they found annoying.

On the other hand, Ace had not finished his essay yet. He struggled with himself, while Tsukishima waited impatiently for him, thinking bluntly.

"Oi, let's go home already! Hurry up, don't chase stupid perfection." He tapped his shoe rapidly against the floor while repeatedly checking his wristwatch.

In the classroom, only the two of them remained, along with Shoryu, who was still flipping through his adult magazine with a strange, lecherous expression.

"Yoshh, finally done, Tsukishima…"

Tsukishima, who had been standing while waiting for his friend, immediately invited Ace to go back to his house again.

"Damn it, if that's the case… Ace, Reiko said he'll come to your house again. There's something he wants to discuss with us." He went ahead, leaving Ace who was still cleaning his desk.

Ace quickly followed him. "Wait up, idiot!"

Meanwhile, Shoryu, who secretly overheard what Tsukishima said, immediately followed Ace and Tsukishima as they headed toward Ace's house.

He kept following them as they walked through a large main road in Fukuoka, Momochi Seaside Park, which had a futuristic city layout with parks and Fukuoka Tower.

However, the longer he followed, the more Shoryu felt he was losing track of them due to the large number of people crowding the streets that day.

He kept pushing through the dense flow of pedestrians. He was moving in such a hurry that eventually—

"Buk!" Shoryu's body collided with a tall person wearing black clothing that covered his entire body. "Ah, sorry, sir, I didn't mea—"

Suddenly… his face froze when he caught a glimpse of the man's face—pale white, cracked, and his left eye shining with colors that were not in harmony, as if it were devouring Shoryu's soul as he stood frozen in fear.

"What?" Ace suddenly felt a strange sensation emerging around him as he talked with Tsukishima about Reiko in the middle of the crowd.

His eyes scanned everything, and goosebumps rose on his skin from not knowing what was happening.

"Do you have a problem?" said the unknown man, still calmly staring at the terrified Shoryu.

"…!"

Suddenly, the man smiled as he sensed a surging fire-like power within Shoryu's body.

"What's wrong, Ace?" Tsukishima asked when he saw Ace restlessly searching for something.

"BOOMMMM!!" SUDDENLY! A MASSIVE EXPLOSION OCCURRED AMONG THE CROWD BEHIND ACE AND TSUKISHIMA!

Instantly, everyone ran away, screaming in terror as they witnessed the horrific scene.

Ace and Tsukishima were shocked; they covered their ears in pain and fear as they heard the explosion erupt not far from them.

"Argghhh!!" Ace screamed in pain as his ears rang loudly.

When the explosion began to subside and the crowd slowly dispersed, with overwhelming shock and disbelief…

Ace and Tsukishima saw many victims lying lifeless before their eyes… especially when they saw Shoryu—who was actually being drained by the tall man Shoryu had bumped into earlier.

His body floated, releasing red-colored auras from Shoryu's body.

Ace felt completely unable to move as he witnessed that figure harming his own friend.

Meanwhile, "Ace, step back," Tsukishima said as he felt threatened. He slowly stepped forward.

"Zepp…"

Tsukishima pulled out a samurai sword from a small dimension that opened beside him!

"What?!" Ace gasped when he saw Tsukishima—his usual friend—suddenly drawing a sword from a small portal.

"Damn it… I'm forced to do this…" Tsukishima muttered irritably in his heart.

Then, he immediately dashed forward with swift, fluid movements toward the man. "Swosh…"

Tsukishima swung his samurai, igniting a thick gray aura right in front of the man.
