Chapter 26 - 26

Tony didn't pay much attention to Leo. He adjusted the position of the camera and walked to the test board.

"The starting point is set half a meter behind the center!" Holding the starting device in both hands, he took a deep breath.

"Xiaodai, be smart and put out the fire later!" he said to the intelligent robotic arm beside him.

"Okay, start manual control." Tony tilted his butt back slightly, trying to keep his center of gravity steady.

Leo moved a little further away and watched Tony's first test from the side.

"See how you handle the 10% axial load. Ready, three..."

"Wait a minute, Mr. Stark, I think you have underestimated the load. How about starting from 1%?" Leo stopped Tony.

Tony wasn't in the habit of listening to Leo, so he continued, "Three, two, one," pressing the buttons in his hands with both hands.

A huge impact force rushed up from the soles of his feet, and his center of gravity quickly moved backwards, smashing into the wall above and behind him at an extremely fast speed.

Leo, who was ten meters away, opened his right hand, and the shoe that was still spewing flames was instantly fixed in the air, as if the huge impact force had completely disappeared.

Tony only reacted at this time and quickly let go of the launch button.

Leo bent his five fingers, and through the parts under Tony's feet and the pair of control rings in his hands, he pulled Tony back steadily and sent him back to the black test board.

Tony didn't recover from the sudden impact until he stood steadily on the test board, then he stared at Leo.

The blow just now was enough to cause serious injuries to him, but now he is unharmed.

"Mr. Stark, I think you need to rest. It's already 6:30 in the morning!" Leo put down his right hand.

"What did you do? How did you do it?" Tony took off his armor and walked towards Leo.

"They're just some insignificant abilities, but Mr. Stark, you haven't slept all night, and you've figured out that you need a flight stabilizer to adjust your center of gravity, right?"

Tony sat back down at his computer desk, looking at the pile of data and starting typing. "The impact force is indeed greater than I expected. The flight assist device is set up very well. I can install a jet device on my hands to adjust it. Your suggestion is good!"

"Mr. Stock, I think you need to rest!"

"It's only been thirty-six hours. Now I'm at my most lucid. I believe, how about the device being mounted in the palm of my hand and erupting!"

Tony became excited again, and many ideas for auxiliary devices came to his mind, and he started to sketch them.

Leo came over and looked at the lines of data sliding on the screen. After a while, his eyes became blurry. "Mr. Stark, don't be so anxious. I think it's best for you to get some sleep and then eat something!"

Tony didn't stop what he was doing and continued to type on the keyboard. Looking at the various design graphics popping up on the computer, Leo shrugged and left the basement.

But Tony didn't care. He only had eyes for the concept of the flight assist device and the entire framework of the Mark II.

Not long after, Tony, who was still brainstorming, suddenly smelled the aroma of food.

A bowl of hot noodles appeared beside him, and at the same time, Leo was also eating a big bowl of noodles.

"If you don't want to sleep, then don't sleep. You can handle it anyway, but you still have to eat!" Leo put his face closer again.

"Mr. Stark, this design is good. How long do you think it will take to complete?" Looking at the drawings on the computer.

Tony looked at the little guy in front of him, then at the bowl of noodles, "Did you make this?"

"Of course, try it, it tastes delicious. I could cook for myself when I was six!"

"Your adoptive parents don't give you food!" Tony's stomach was indeed empty.

He picked up the noodles and started eating them with a fork.

"No, I eat more and often cook for myself!" Liou stared at the jet device on the computer in a daze.

This device is the most important function of the Mark II and also the purpose of Tony Stark making the Mark II, flying.

"Mr. Stark, I'm really happy to see the birth of Mark II. I can't wait." An expectant smile appeared on Leo's face.

Tony looked at the somewhat neurotic boy, pushed the finished bowl aside, and touched his warm stomach, and couldn't help but curl up the corners of his mouth.

But he immediately got back to work and continued designing the parts at hand.

Leo didn't disturb Tony, and Tony seemed to have acquiesced to Leo's presence, letting him wait by the side without driving him away.

Three hours later, all the parts had been designed and projected onto the three-dimensional workbench on the side, forming a three-dimensional model.

After further designing the physical form and waiting for all the parts models to be put together, Tony started to operate it directly.

He extended his arm into the projection, as if he were actually wearing the equipment, and made the final adjustments following his movements.

Looking at the smooth and pleasing operation in front of him, Leo's heart began to beat wildly.

I didn't know how much time passed in the basement.

The first finished product was finally made. Tony put on the connector and connected it to the Ark reactor on his chest.

He fastened the device on his arm and prepared to conduct the first experiment.

Leo suddenly looked out the door, and Pepper walked in with a square box wrapped in brown paper and a cup of coffee on it.

When Pepper saw Leo here for the first time, she also felt very strange.

Because besides Tony himself, only Rhodes had been here.

"I've been calling you. Didn't you hear the intercom ringing?" Pepper said to Tony who was wearing the device.

"Well, everything is very...what did you say?" Tony replied absentmindedly, suddenly realizing it.

"Obadai is waiting for you upstairs." Pepper put the things down.

"Okay, got it. I'll go up right away!" Tony continued to equip the aircraft in his hand.

Pepper turned to Leo and said, "Hey, little guy, I was wondering where you were. What brought you to the studio?"

"I'm here to protect Mr. Stark!"

"Really? How do you protect it?" Pepper stood beside Leo and saw the device in Tony's hand again. Two pieces of metal auxiliary equipment were worn on his arms, and there was a glowing round exit in the palm of his hand.

"Didn't you say you weren't going to make weapons anymore?"

"It's just a flight stabilizer. It can't cause any damage." Tony slapped the energy button on the table and said confidently.

The light in the palm of his hand became stronger and stronger. Before he could react, a wave of energy shot out in a line. The huge impact force made Tony, who had no auxiliary equipment, crash backwards instantly.

Pepper was so frightened by the loud light and noise that she covered her ears, while little Leo stretched out his hand and grabbed Tony tightly from a few meters away.

"That's it!" Leo put Tony down, who was about to crash into the tool bench, and shrugged.
