"Are you going to tell me or not?" Jared Quinn narrowed his eyes and threatened.
"It was at the swimming pool."
"Which time?"
"The first time, maybe?" Melody Thorne's face flushed as she recalled the scene at the swimming pool that day.
"How did you know?" Jared's large hand had already lifted her shirt, and his rough thumb was rubbing against the faint scar on her stomach.
Melody Thorne couldn't possibly say it was because she had died once and Ivy had told her.
"Ivy told me at the seaside when she jumped into the sea. Maybe she felt guilty towards me when she died, so she told me." Melody Thorne found an excuse.
Jared's eyes fixed on the scar on her stomach, with an inscrutable gaze that was hard to decipher.
"I did tell you, but you didn't believe me, so you can't blame me."
"Knock knock," came the sound of someone knocking on the door.
"Jared, someone from the Seymour Family is here, and they want you to go over."
