Dying like that, was it of satisfaction to you?
Enji was jolted awake after hearing the voice.
"Aren't I dead? Where am I and who's talking to me? Unless becoming crazy is what happens next after people die?"
You're funny.
"No, what's funny is that your voice has no source at all."
And why would that be funny? And not… scary?
Enji was immediately hit with a sinister feeling after hearing that but maintained composure.
"Because it would prove that my silly conjecture was correct and people do go crazy after dying."
You have a colorful mouth on you.
Enji instinctively turned around and saw a blurry figure standing.
"Are you using data? Or is the WiFi just slow?"
This time the entity remained quiet and stood still like a statue.
Human you… HAHAHAHAHA! YOU REALLY GOT ME THIS TIME!
"I guess my conjecture should be a theorem now that you're also crazy."
You really don't run out of things to say, do you?
"Or, you just don't run out of things that people can talk about."
You're very talkative for someone who can off people as if you were just breathing.
"…"
Oh? Wasn't I supposed to know that?
"Alright I give up. Who are you? What are you? Where am I? What now?"
That's pretty conclusive of our discussion to be. I'm one of the many entities out there. I do not have a name, but according to human terms you call beings like me God. You're in a space exclusive to me and the people I fancy having here.
The entity paused for a bit before continuing.
I observe a world called Ilye. It has only been several hundred years since its inception and I wanted a foreign soul to touch this land. Truth be told, it could have been anyone, a cripple, a criminal, a slave, anything.
"I was looking forward to my profession being used as an example."
You intrigue me. Even more so in our little conversation. This is an opportunity I'm giving you, for your soul to house another flesh. Interested?
"I've worked ever since I was a kid. So you're telling me that people work even after they die?"
Apparently no, they just disappear in the vast expanse of the cosmos. Also, do not mistake that I would be employing you, I do not have any errands for you if you were to accept my offer.
"Tell me about Ilye."
As I've told you, it has only been around for several hundred years. If I were to reference a period in your world, it would be around the medieval ages. Only difference is that there are other elements in this world that makes it even more exciting but just as dangerous.
"Such as?"
Such as things I would only continue to talk about if you agree to go there.
"What a prick. Fine, give me some time to think about it. Okay, I agree."
The being chuckled at Enji's silliness
You're entertaining to converse with. It gets lonely here sometimes so talking with you is a good change of pace.
"Ever heard of the word wife? Maybe you need one. I know some good people for you, too bad they're all alive to see me."
The being burst out in laughter and began to ascend.
"So where you flying to?"
I'll have you transported to Ilye shortly.
"Care to tell me about those exciting elements before doing that?"
I'm afraid I'll have you accompany me here for eons if you stay any longer.
"Right, I'm not too sure having two people in an asylum share a room."
Get outta here before that really does happen.
