Ethan Hayes looked at Liam Shaw with a bewildered expression, paused for a moment, then burst into laughter, saying, "I confessed to you?? I even wanted to kiss you?? Which one of us is actually drunk??"
Liam Shaw took a deep breath, reached into his pocket to pull out his phone, and waved it at Ethan Hayes, saying, "I knew you wouldn't admit it! Luckily, last night while one hand was still free, I secretly hit the record button!!"
Ethan Hayes' eyes shifted from Liam Shaw to the phone in his hand, and after a moment of silence, he raised an eyebrow and said, "Oh, then play it for me."
"Play it, go ahead! Who's afraid of whom!!" Liam Shaw looked indignant, unlocked his phone, then found the recording from last night and directly pressed the play button.
After some rustling sounds, Ethan Hayes' low and slightly drunken voice was heard along with Liam Shaw's near frantic wailing:
"Vivian, I like you... I really like you."
