Huh???
Although Vivian was full of questions, she still obediently followed behind Ethan Hayes, walking back to the law firm's front door.
Ethan looked inside through the glass door. The receptionist was sitting there, head down, looking at her phone.
He held Vivian's arm, bent down, and crept along the wall, crouching, past the receptionist and into the law firm.
Vivian didn't dare breathe, just focused on following behind Ethan.
Upon reaching the stairway entrance, Ethan straightened up and glanced back at the receptionist behind them.
Vivian looked at Ethan, puzzled, and whispered to him quietly, "What are you doing?? Why are we sneaking in like thieves??"
"Shh, don't talk." Ethan put a finger to Vivian's lips, looked around cautiously, then whispered to her, "We can't let the receptionist see us, otherwise she'll call that lawyer we just met."
"Oh..." Vivian nodded thoughtfully, then looked up at him and asked, "What are we doing now??"
