Once his own mom went out, Ethan Hayes finally turned his head, his eyes full of laughter as he looked at Vivian and said, "So you're covering for me??"
"Covering for you about what??" Vivian rolled her eyes at him irritably. "If I told your mom the truth, you think you'd still be alive and well right now?"
Hearing her words, Ethan pressed his lips together, the smile on his face growing wider.
"Okay, okay, stop grinning like an idiot and hurry up and do your test paper." Vivian was still a bit hung up on Ethan kissing her just now, but then she thought about how she used to kiss her parents like that when she was little, and suddenly felt a bit relieved.
He probably just sees her as an older sister, as family, that's why he couldn't help stealing a kiss.
"Mm." Ethan stared at her for a while longer, then finally lowered his head obediently and went back to his test paper.
