"Let's... let's go, let's head home." Vivian rubbed her hands and said in a trembling voice to Ethan Hayes, "If we keep standing here, we'll soon turn into ice sculptures."
"Okay." Ethan nodded, released Vivian's arm that he had been hugging, and took off his jacket to drape it over her, saying, "Put this on, I'm not that cold."
"Really??" Vivian looked at him skeptically.
"Really." Ethan nodded seriously, pointing to his cheek to add credibility to his words, "Look, it's all warm and flushed."
Vivian blinked at him, tightened the jacket draped over herself, and took a deep breath, saying, "Alright, let's hurry back!"
As soon as she finished speaking, she started heading swiftly up the stairs.
Ethan watched her sprinting away, couldn't help but shake his head with a smile, and followed closely with his long strides.
Fortunately, Vivian's house was just on the third floor, and they managed to rush back home in just a few seconds.
