Vivian was suddenly stunned.
Lying on the bed, Ethan Hayes had a pale face and looked incredibly weak, yet the hand holding her wrist was exceptionally firm and determined.
Perhaps it's because no one has ever accompanied him when he's sick, which is why he's so dependent on her.
Vivian's heart instantly softened.
She initially planned to leave for the subway station to return to school after watching Ethan drink his medicine, but seeing his current state, she was truly worried.
After a brief hesitation, Vivian sighed and spoke to Ethan with slight resignation, "Alright, I won't leave, you be good and sleep."
"Mm..." Ethan, with his eyes closed, replied unconsciously, yet the hand holding her wrist did not relax at all.
Vivian thought for a moment and placed the empty bowl on the bedside table. She sat beside Ethan's bed, tightly clasping his large hand with her small ones, and whispered reassuringly, "Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere. I'm here with you."
