Vivian arrived at Ethan Hayes's doorstep ten minutes early and reached out to press the doorbell.
However, after the doorbell rang for quite some time, no one came to open the door. She checked the time with some confusion—it was indeed the correct time.
Last night, this guy even called specifically to remind her to be there at nine sharp this morning for the tutoring session. Why was she here now but no one opened the door?
Vivian opened her phone contacts, found Ethan Hayes's number, and dialed directly.
Fortunately, after the phone rang for a while, it was picked up on the other end.
"Hello..." Ethan's voice came through the receiver, heavy with sleep and slightly raspy.
"Ethan." Vivian paused slightly upon hearing his voice. Could it be that this guy wasn't even up yet? "I'm at your doorstep."
