"Uh..." Liam Shaw hesitated slightly, awkwardly scratching the back of his head, speaking weakly: "I just accidentally said what was on my mind."
Ethan Hayes glared at Liam Shaw, casually placed the coke on the side of the court, stood up, and headed toward the basketball court.
The game finally ended with a staggering score of eighteen to ninety-seven. Liam Shaw looked at the neighboring classmates with an expression as if they'd lost all hope, feeling very pleased.
"Ethan, let's go out for dinner tonight to celebrate!!" Liam Shaw excitedly followed Ethan Hayes, holding his jacket, and asked happily.
"Not going, I have to go home and work on homework tonight." Ethan Hayes refused him outright without even thinking.
"Come on, seriously, Ethan, this isn't like you! Why are you working so hard? Trying to get into Westmont or Briarhall University?" Liam Shaw asked Ethan Hayes with an exaggerated expression.
