Ian Rowe walked over slowly, his gaze focused intently on her face, not missing a single expression.
He spoke slowly, his voice carrying an indescribable tone: "Maya Monroe... why are you so afraid of me?"
Maya smiled, clung to him as she always did, looking at him with affection: "What are you talking about, hubby? I'll always like you, why would I be afraid of you?"
"Really?" He sat on the edge of the bed and slightly stretched out his hand, pulling her into his arms.
