Aaaaaaa!!
A loud scream echoed at the early morning, causing the birds on the windows rail to fly away. A young adult in his early 20s sat on the bed talking heavy breaths as if he had a nightmare. He put both his hands on his face, trying to stop his trembling hands with deep breaths.
After a while, his hands calm down, so as his breath. He then looked at the bedside table to see an old wooden cross with some dark stains along with age old cracks. "Why...It's the same nightmare every time, but why can't I remember anything... A vague sense of familiarity, but some thing's been missing.. Something that hold me till this day.. This intense fear of the thing that I forgot,.. It's more like the source of my fear has been nothing but a giant hoax... Hah.. Anyway I have to get ready for my holy knight duty. "
Knock knock. Someone at the door. " Aster..? You wake Dude!? ". " Um,!! Yeah.. I " before Aster could reply, the other person barged in. Aster startled." Dude..... What the hell?!!.. You scream like it's Your time to meet the Holy Heavens.. " the guy rushed toward Aster's bed.
Seeing Aster on his sleepy hair with disheveled dress and a sweat face, the guy release a relief gasp with a tint of worry.
"Dude.. For a moment I thought Commander Haeden came for the role call at this early.. You took the heavens out of me you know?" the new guy shower his teared eyes.
Aster slide himself out of the bed with an awkward smile.
(This new guy's name is Thaem Agusta, one of the member in *Holy Knights: the ever known army that protects the country in face of Devils that is threatening the nation's population of living with their cleansing energy . It's said that Each Holy Knights has a Special team that are known as Holy Swords. These groups are blessed by extraordinary powers than Holy Knights, ability to find, evaluate and purify the Dark Forces that are a part of Devil's activities. Not all blessed ones can do the deeds, they have to train under harsh circumstances into their life. Holy Knights may looks like under command of Holy Swords, but they doesn't involve with each other. If Holy Swords watch over the Dark Forces, The Holy Knights look after the people. So they have commanders for each Holy Knights faction and one such Holy Knights faction Aster and Themis are under Commander Haeden. Commander is famous for is strict rules towards his subordinates. )
"So?.. What gives?..." The question came out of nowhere that made Aster surprised. He gives a sheepish smile at Themis and said " Sorry Thaem, I think Commander got me in my dreams...". "Hah?... I told you that old geezer is a bad news if he visit your dream... C'on man.. We gotta hurry.. Wonder what that damn man's upto now?.." Thaem scratched his head in disdainand walked outside the room only to peek again with his head at door saying "Don't be late Dude.. Be quick. I will wait for you outside the training hall... See ya."
Aster nodded and saw his friend disappear from the door. He stares at the door, biting his lips as a habit of his when he lies to others in a guilt, Sorry Thaem, you are a good guy but I don't want to burden you with my troubles.. I want to find a solution for this Unknown nightmare. He muttered under his breath and went to wash himself in washroom.
