Suddenly, a voice came that made Summer Shawcross pause and turn her head towards the door in surprise.
Butler Ye pushed open the wooden door, and Master Long walked in, leaning on his cane.
Seeing the incoming person, Summer paused for a moment. The thought that he might have heard her badmouthing Master Long earlier made her face suddenly feel a bit awkward.
However, she felt no guilt about it. Master Long was indeed a nasty old man and not as likable as his falcon, so she was just speaking the truth!
Master Long walked into the small courtyard and slowly approached Summer Shawcross.
Following behind him were a few servants, carrying large bags, heading towards the small building.
When she saw Master Long approaching, Summer glanced at him and then turned her gaze away, not wanting to look at him anymore.
