After a while, she glanced at the time, got up from him, closed the lid of the thermal container, then tidied her clothes and hair.
"Um... I should head back, take your time with work."
"Okay." Noah Drexler replied, then shifted his position to cover up the current awkwardness.
Summer Shawcross hugged the thermal container, ready to leave, but suddenly remembered something. She took out a small box from her portable bag, placed it on the table, and said to him.
"This is for you, don't get worked up too often, it's bad for your health."
Earlier when she came in, she saw a few people at the door, and it was evident what had just happened.
Looking at the box she was holding, Noah Drexler showed a hint of puzzlement, and upon closer inspection, found that it was a box of cooling peppermint candies.
Seeing him take the candies, Summer thought of more things and started to admonish him with concern.
