In just two days, Tong Yan had a two-day tour with the crew.
Whenever they did anything even slightly intimate, there would be people pretending to pass by, glancing over from time to time, their eyes lighting up with gossip, shooting during the day, sticking together at night, even driving up the mountain to watch the stars blanket the sky.
Entering this line of work means you can't date like ordinary people, but a date like this is already quite satisfying.
Happy days always fly by quickly, and just like that, two days had passed.
Two evenings later, Tong Yan was called by Director Meng, who said there was something urgent she needed to attend to. She bid farewell to the film emperor and got into the car back to the crew.
These two days were just as she had expected; the notification she wanted never came, meaning this trial performance was indeed a failure.
Even though Tong Yan had anticipated such a result, she couldn't help but feel a bit uneasy inside.
