One good night of sleep.
In the morning, Qin Yun, still half-asleep, felt herself snuggling into something warm and cozy and instinctively moved closer, wrapping her arms and legs around it in a big bear hug.
"Ugh... It's too big, can't hold it, wish it were a little smaller," Qin Yun mumbled groggily.
This movement woke Pei Yan from his sound sleep.
Mornings tend to be a time when emotions are easily stirred, and Qin Yun's action was just adding fuel to the fire, making Pei Yan's breath become uneven.
Pei Yan held down the restless body beside him and, speaking in a husky, low voice that was still shaky from sleep, said, "Don't move."
"You're smothering me," Qin Yun protested as she was pressed against Pei Yan's chest, his body hot, causing her entire body to heat up. She struggled to break free from his embrace.
Her constant struggling and friction made Pei Yan flip over, pinning her under him, using his strong arms to restrain her hands above her head.
