Qin Yun didn't pay much attention, and before long, Pei Yan came in carrying a thermal food container.
"Where did you get that?" Qin Yun asked in surprise.
Pei Yan opened the container, took out the food inside, glanced at her, and calmly said, "I had someone deliver it. I'm a bit hungry."
"Oh." Qin Yun immediately understood why. She licked her lips, forcing herself to turn her attention back to the TV.
Pei Yan didn't call her over, and leisurely began to eat.
The aroma of the food filled the air, and Qin Yun's nose, more sensitive than most, especially when it came to food, picked it up immediately.
She pretended not to care and glanced over with her peripheral vision again and again. Her mouth watered, and she swallowed several times, her slender, fair fingers gripping the throw pillow tightly.
"Do you want some?" Pei Yan casually asked.
"No, I don't eat food that's given like charity." Qin Yun puffed out her cheeks and refused with defiance.
