The night recedes, and Fertile Island gradually reveals its outline under the indigo sky. Waves lapping against the shore, scattering silver light against the ochre cliffs, and the salty sea breeze fills the nostrils.
Li Cunxu stood on a large rock on the shoreline, doing stretching exercises.
The morning scenery on Fertile Island is quite nice, except the gray, murky mist over the sea is somewhat of a spoiler.
Suddenly, a loud, piercing noise emerged from beneath the sea shrouded in the mist.
Li Cunxu quickly covered his ears.
But the sound was unique and couldn't be blocked by hands.
It could even penetrate the defense field of a Mechanical Pupil.
Within seconds, Li Cunxu was annoyed by the noise.
Not just Li Cunxu, anyone on the island who heard the sound became incredibly irritable.
