Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: “Through creation comes destruction.”

"The prototype, or rather FB1: First Being 1, is a success; now the creation of humans is possible."

The unrecognizable figure had talked to themselves, writing down notes on a piece of paper. They have been in the process for a while now to create a prototype human for the reality they would soon build.

The child (the prototype) looked at the figure but didn't speak; the prototype's eyes were devoid of any emotion, but one thing was certain: they couldn't tell what the figure looked like as the figure caught the hint, then again a god could read minds.

"Yes, I'm sorry about that. I'll change my forms in a moment so you can recognize me, and remember to just refer to me as Zero; I'm the beginning and creator of all with all authority and power over all."

Zero changed forms to an almost tall humanoid with disoriented features and a blurred-out face now; it gave an uncanny feeling, but now Zero wasn't unrecognizable.

"Yes, then again I made you so you were devoid of emotion; it makes sense why you don't speak, you're just a concept to something bigger after all."

"But you probably don't even know any of these concepts or the language I developed for humans yet; but first is the start of the universe, humans can come later."

"So much to do but so much to tweak; before I make anything, I need the perfect image for it that fits my image. That's why it took a while to create anything."

"But I'm sorry for rambling on; go look around and check out your new home and your only home."

The obedient prototype, like a robot, followed the suggestion despite not knowing what Zero meant and decided to look around on its own accord; this place was devoid of anything, just a white space of nothingness outside of time, which was a concept that hadn't been created yet; it was a bland space, but the prototype didn't know what objects were, or even clothes, considering how Zero and the prototype didn't have any on, so the prototype being emotionless and not having knowledge on anything didn't question the bland white space, not even the fact this space had an infinite range; all the concepts the prototype would learn would come from Zero's creation.

The prototype then, once done, just stood there before sitting down; it came naturally to the prototype to just sit down, but the prototype didn't question it as the prototype watched Zero.

"I could do that for the reality I want to create; let's begin."

Zero put out their hand, grabbing at nothing; that nothing turned into something. It looked like the white space in the area they encompassed as Zero pulled it back like it was paper, ripping it away with one pull. A huge bang could be heard throughout the whole white space as it echoed throughout, and the dark nothingness that was caused by the rip was replaced by the universe, space, stars, planets, and much more.

A rift was placed between both the reality of the universe and the white space that was outside of it, but only beings created outside the reality of the universe could enter and exit and even comprehend the rift.

"Now the concept of time will flow in that reality, and with that will come a history I will find exciting."

Zero said to themselves, laughing; Zero had a habit of talking to themselves.

"What world I made is for the readers to find out later on, isn't that right, FB1?"

The prototype simply shook their head, not knowing what Zero was even talking about, but the reason why the prototype shook their head is that with the creation of the universe came knowledge of what future humans would have, such as speech.

"A human developed with emotions, contrary to FB1, I'll call you Ruki."

Zero said, lending out his hand towards the small child, Some time has passed since the prototype was created. Since that time, the universe has evolved, and Zero very recently created a replica of the prototype, but this version had emotions—basically twins.

Ruki spoke, curious and intrigued by the figure in front of him.

"Are you my father?"

Zero nodded; being Ruki's creator, he was technically Ruki's father. Ruki sensed a smile from Zero despite not being able to see it, as he was in his figureless state when first creating the prototype.

The prototype then walked through the rift. The prototype was allowed to go and leave as he pleased as long as he didn't commit any violence. Zero didn't know why the prototype left so much, but emotionless people must like to wander.

"Say hello to your brother, FB1; you'll be seeing him a lot from now on."

The prototype simply waved and walked past Ruki, completely ignoring him. This made Ruki sad, making him cry a bit before Zero put his tears aside and calmed Ruki down.

"Don't be sad; your sibling has no emotions, so it is expected why it would ignore you."

Zero had given up on the prototype; all Zero needed it for was the concept of humans. After that, the prototype had no purpose, only free will.

"Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't know, Father."

Ruki responded, calming down as he had a big smile on his face. Unlike Zero, Ruki wouldn't give up on the prototype that was unaccounted for to Zero, and he knew what Ruki thought, but Zero was interested in what would happen, so he allowed for Ruki to think that way.

Ruki ran over to the prototype, trying to have a conversation with him, but it seemed Ruki's efforts were in vain.

Zero sighed. Zero saw Ruki as very precious and very valuable, so he planned to alter the prototype to make Ruki happy.

When Ruki was asleep, the Prototype finally got its first command from Zero in centuries. Now there was the Prototype kneeling in front of Zero, still a child because the Prototype didn't know how to change forms yet.

"I'll be altering your creation."

Zero said, putting his hand over the prototype as formulated words of information about the prototype's life came out like code in a game, Everything was going well.

The words started forcing their way back into the prototype unexpectedly. Zero had never experienced something like this before. How was Zero's own creation fighting back? Zero came to a realization: it wasn't the prototype that was fighting back; it had just always been corrupted.

A rift cracked open into the white space as creatures of unimaginable horrors and three mysterious figures came out. Two of them were on the same level as Zero, and Zero could sense that. As Zero quickly waved his hand trying to erase all of them, Zero was tense and terrified; this was the first time Zero felt terror.

One of the figures grabbed the attack, basically catching the concept of erasing. The figure was just a child, but this child was stronger than Zero. The child gave a sinister smirk.

"Don't be so crude. I'm not here to play with my toys; I'm here for what the adults say is negotiation."

The prototype was still kneeling, unfazed by the whole ordeal. Zero then calmed down before agreeing; he had things to protect, like his universe and Ruki.

"Okay, but tell me, who are you three? And how are you even here?"

Zero asked, considering how Zero was literally god. Zero thought nothing else could be created unless it was by their own hands, especially something this powerful.

"I am a leader of the end lands; you may call me Leafy. My two friends here that are as powerful as you are the other 2 leaders."

Leafy had said with a childlike smile that he was just a child and even acted like one, but he was still so evil and powerful despite that. How did this kid go under Zero's notice? How did Zero not even know what the end land was? It shamed Zero.

"If you take the seals off your world and let us live in your universe, I promise we will spare you and only slowly corrupt your world until it is ours."

Zero's life creation, what Zero worked so hard for, was going to be taken over. Zero wouldn't let that happen, but Zero's life was at risk, and truthfully, Zero was a coward, so Zero kneeled and obeyed Leafy's wishes, tearing off the seal.

Leafy gave a sinister grin as he looked like he was in pure pleasure. Leafy loved being evil; that was his purpose, it was his happiness. Leafy then pointed towards the Prototype with a sly grin.

"Also, I want that creation of yours; it has the potential to surpass all of us in power."

Zero was about to hand over the prototype without a second thought, but then Ruki intervened, getting in the way and crying as he spoke, yelling in desperation.

"TAKE ME INSTEAD!"

Zero looked up at Ruki. How could a creation develop self-sacrifice so quickly in their brain? Zero had a look of desperation, pleading for Ruki not to do it. Ruki then looked at Zero and simply said with a fake smile, Ruki was terrified, but he had courage.

"If I can't protect my sibling, how can I call myself a brother father?"

"Bye, Father..."

Leafy agreed to let Ruki take the prototype's place before waving his hand as the leaders and Ruki disappeared. The rift was gone, and the monsters from the end lands from earlier ran through the rift from the white space to the universe. Zero just made life way more difficult for the future of their universe.

1.4

A few minutes after the End Land's creatures were gone, it was just the prototype and Zero. Zero was still processing until Zero kicked the prototype in the chin, got on top of the prototype, and beat it up relentlessly. Zero was crying; he was angry, and it was all the prototype's fault in his head.

"IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT; YOU LET THE END LAND'S CORRUPT YOU; YOU MADE RUKI GET TAKEN AWAY!"

Well, Zero was blowing off steam. The prototype just looked up at Zero with a blank, emotionless stare, his eyes devoid of anything. It was like Zero was just punching a punching bag. Zero kept punching and crying. Zero's face soon turned to desperation and pity. Zero found themself so pitiful. Zero wanted to blow off steam, but Zero couldn't keep punching something with no reaction; it made Zero feel even worse. Zero was broken.

"PLEASE JUST REACT! Why did you have to stay emotionless! Why aren't you mad…? GET SAD, GET MAD! RETALIATE! Please! Please… just react.."

Zero then stopped attacking the prototype, slamming the ground and just breaking down completely.

"This was all my fault. I was your creator…"

Zero started to calm down as the prototype just lay there emotionless. Zero then turned to the prototype before creating a box and throwing it towards the prototype, sealing the prototype in the box.

"They said you could get more powerful than me; you're too dangerous to keep out."

"Through creation comes destruction…"

Zero then sat down, isolated. The prototype would be like this for a long time.

And with nothing else to do here anymore, we move on to the universe, a new character in mind.
