Chapter 1 - Facing Instability

Altair watched her, watched the young girl with bright white eyes, perfect skin without a single wrinkle, an innocent gaze, a fragile body, and a rather timid predisposition fall to the ground.

There were three boys in front of her, quite common and easy to forget according to Altair. These boys had dark skin, clothes that could be easily confused with each other, and determined looks in their eyes.

Altair observed this with a cold gaze; his eyes inevitably drifted to another spot where the snow had not yet been stepped on by human feet.

"Three... two, one," the boy counted in a low voice, and just as he blinked, a boy with yellow hair styled like little mountains on his head appeared, then Altair let out a slight sigh.

His eyes, almost devoid of positive emotion, narrowed; he looked at the boy with hatred, gritted his teeth tightly, shivered in his spot, and almost spat saliva in anger.

Then Altair took a step forward, then another, and before he realized it, he found himself running toward the blond boy who was planning to help the girl from a distance.

Naruto, the blond boy, saw a beautiful girl with white eyes that looked like those of a blind person being attacked by several people and could not help clenching his fists.

"Why is it always like this?" he asked himself, feeling somehow identified with the girl, with her fragile gaze, with the small whimper or cry that escaped her pink lips every time a hand struck her face.

The blond gritted his teeth in anger, raised his eyes with determination, and just as he was about to charge forward to defend the girl, he felt a deep pain in his stomach.

Crash

Time seemed to stop for Naruto; his eyes dilated in seconds, he turned his head with cold speed and absurd surprise only to see a boy pushing a kitchen knife into his stomach.

The blade of the knife had fully sunk into a part of his stomach as he opened his eyes.

Naruto slightly lifted his head, blinked, and with almost absolute surprise looked at the boy who had stabbed him by surprise. This boy had a face covered in wounds, a rope mark on his neck, and just by looking into his eyes, Naruto could feel the other's sadness.

"You..." Naruto barely managed to murmur, about to raise a hand when he felt his entire mind being absorbed by a particular evil energy.

Altair smiled, watching how Naruto's eyes went from light blue to intense red, and the small fox whiskers on his cheeks began to thicken. He showed his white teeth in a grin from ear to ear, ecstasy coursing through his body.

"Jajajaja!!!" Altair could not help but burst into laughter, his eyes completely focused on the boy who had caused all his misfortunes.

"I've finished the demon!!!" he shouted, almost unconsciously letting himself fall onto the snow to revel in his joy.

However, before Altair could release another intense laugh, Naruto, who had been possessed by the Nine-Tails fox chakra, grabbed him by the neck with such force that he felt the vertebrae in his neck crunch.

Altair, surprised by Naruto's sudden movement and action, was forced to look at the sky due to the grip, gritted his teeth, some saliva ran down his cheeks as he stared directly at the sun, thinking and remembering.

"How is this...?" he asked himself, barely containing the urge to lose consciousness and finally collapse onto the grass.

Altair, of slender build, did not fully understand what was happening, "Wasn't I supposed to have finished the demon? Wasn't he supposed to already be...?" however, before he could continue, Naruto tightened his grip, ending his life.

...

Some Anbu, hidden in the shadows, did not take long to report the events to Lord Hokage.

"A civilian child stabbed the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki and ended up dying," was the brief report that quickly alerted old Sarutobi, who decided to intervene along with an elite team to contain the fox and reinforce Naruto's seal.

In the following days, many more rumors spread throughout Konoha.

"You see, there was a child, an orphan due to the old release of the fox, his parents died at the front, he tried to take revenge but ended up dying. How tragic."

"It's impossible not to feel some pity for the boy; I saw him from time to time fighting with stray dogs over trash from the nearby restaurant. It must have been hard."

The rumors about Altair, an orphan due to the Nine-Tails incident where the Fourth Hokage died, spread throughout the village. Some civilians saw him as a martyr who decided to take revenge for what happened to his family.

However, this type of news was normal in the ninja world and didn't last more than a few days.

Three days later, at the Konoha cemetery.

"Is he dead? Eh..." Devan said with a slight sigh. Devan was in charge of the Konoha cemetery; there were about ten workers under his command, all Chunin or Genin.

Devan, in his office in a corner of the Konoha cemetery, observed the report resting on his desk. He had not left his office during the past week. The reason? He had simply focused on trying to deepen his necromancer spells, but had not succeeded.

"This is... somehow different," Devan smiled slightly, moved his fingers from which a strange black smoke escaped and dissipated into the air.

"It's been a while since I felt a slight improvement in my abilities. This is bad news, hehe," Devan smiled while toying with the scroll in his hands.

In fact, he was an apprentice necromancer in his old world and had mastered three basic skills under his master, Randall.

Skeleton Summoning: The ability to make skeletons rise from the ground to fight. Currently, Devan can only summon ten at a time, and although each has unlimited energy, they are no stronger than an average adult.

Curse: Devan can use his magic to curse a person. The cursed person will feel anxiety, discouragement, sadness, weakness, and dark thoughts, gradually eroding their mental stability.

Bone Spear: Devan can summon a bone spear in front of him that can be thrown forward with force as a projectile or also used as a sword.

These three basic necromancer skills had cost Devan twenty years of his life in his old world, all to master them at a basic level. "Now that I have reincarnated in this world with a young body, I could try to master necromancy more deeply," was Devan's thought upon reincarnating in Naruto-world.

However, without necromancy books or his master Randall, it was impossible for Devan to continue practicing necromancy unless he tried to create his own necromancer spells, which required a high understanding of magic that, of course, he did not have.

Devan had spent several years sad about this, practicing only the three basic necromancer spells until a strange memory implanted itself in his mind after a long night.

"A child, despised by everyone, will in the end become the hero of Konoha. A child, loved by everyone, will become the villain of Konoha. The child who will be the hero has yellow hair and is easy to recognize," Devan thought a month ago.

At first, he thought this might be a fleeting dream, something insignificant, but just as he was leaving his house in Konoha's food-selling district, he saw Naruto walking nearby.

At that moment, Devan felt it.

The boy, lively in appearance, dirty-faced, wearing already worn and faded clothes, disheveled blond hair, vibrant blue eyes, and a determined gaze, was special. Devan had seen that look, that posture, that determination in his eyes before, in the prince of the kingdom where he had previously served as a necromancer in his old world.

The boy was, to say the least, unique, destined for glory, born like a diamond in the mud, a nugget of gold in a bag of trash. Devan was completely sure of it.

T/N: I'm excited to write a new book :D, I like dark stuff, I enjoy it, so this Fanfiction will be... well, pretty mature haha
