In the morning, Chester Lynch had just helped South Grant in a fight, so she couldn't really refuse. She nodded in agreement.
Chester was treating, so naturally it wouldn't be in the school cafeteria.
After Chester and South walked out of the school, he turned to South and asked, "What do you want to eat?"
"Anything's fine." South wasn't fussy about food.
Hearing her say "anything," Chester took out his phone, opened the map, and checked for nearby good eats.
South leaned in, glanced at Chester's phone, and suddenly recalled some places from her past life where she wanted to go but couldn't.
Like street food stalls, or those tiny yet delicious skewer soup shops.
Back then, she was a celebrity, a public figure, with every move being watched.
Seeing Chester still scrolling, South said to him:
"Come on, let me take you to a place."
Soon, South led Chester to the entrance of an alley.
