Yu Man brushed her hair aside, yawning.
Having just purified the spiritual sea for over ten people at the base this morning, she had expended quite a bit of spiritual power again and was a bit tired.
Yu Man glanced to the rear out of the corner of her eye.
She wondered if she was getting old, were the younger male beastmen really this energetic?
Yu Man opened the screen outside the small living room and could clearly see the situation outside.
Outside, there were a few police officers.
"Is there something the matter?" she asked toward the screen.
The officers in uniform outside showed their IDs.
"Ma'am, we received a report of someone intruding here, and there's suspicion of illicit transactions, so we've come to check it out."
The police outside saw Yu Man safe and sound, feeling relieved.
If they'd waited any longer, they might have forced their way in.
