Midnight
Wang Hao drifted into a sweet dream.
In the dream, he found himself on a vast grassland, with green mountains, clear waters, blue skies, and white clouds. A gentle breeze caressed his face, making him feel utterly relaxed.
Looking as far as his eyes could see, there were herds of horses galloping in the distance, cattle and sheep grazing, and birds singing.
Wang Hao stretched extensively and lay down, closing his eyes slightly, feeling completely at ease.
All his worries were thrown to the back of his mind.
"Hya! Hya!"
He didn't know how much time had passed when a series of female voices reached his ears, accompanied by the sound of hoofbeats.
Wang Hao opened his eyes and sat up.
A woman on horseback was approaching him.
As she got close, the woman leapt down from the horse, lunging toward Wang Hao.
Using his hands for support, Wang Hao propelled himself upward, and his feet kicked out.
