He hurriedly stood up from his chair, but possibly due to being over eighty years old, he couldn't stand up immediately.
His female assistant hurried forward to assist him.
George finally managed to stand and sighed, "To think we once considered the Ancestral Gods as our greatest enemy, only to realize today that he is the only Guardian God we humans can rely on. All these changes happened in just a few months."
The female assistant echoed his sentiment, "Yes, back then, we kept speculating about the true strength of the Ancestral Gods. Initially, we thought his power was akin to a nuclear weapon, but then he escalated to destroying ground levels, and now we've learned he has the ability to destroy entire star systems. Thankfully, we didn't end up truly opposing him back then. Otherwise, we might not know if the aliens' star system would be destroyed, but for sure, we would have been wiped out first."
