Day after day, it's Friday again.
After work, Yu Fu invited me to go shopping together. Zhou Huaiyi glanced at the sky which had been gloomy all week and suddenly lost interest, so she politely declined.
On the subway ride home, Zhou Huaiyi was reading a book when her phone suddenly buzzed with a ringtone in her pocket. She turned a page slowly before taking out her phone. Seeing the unfamiliar unknown number, she answered, "Hello, this is Huaiyi speaking."
There was a few seconds of silence on the other end before a voice asked, "Is this Huaiyi?"
The slightly familiar female voice sounded quite friendly. Zhou Huaiyi paused, and the image of a graceful face immediately flashed in her mind. Before she could respond, the voice continued, "I'm Qi Chen's mother."
Zhou Huaiyi snapped her book shut with a "slap," straightened her back instantly, and sat up stifly, "Ah, ah, Auntie."
