Friday, just before leaving work, Zhou Huaiyi received an utterly unexpected call from Xiang Qichen.
The voice on the other end, unhurried: "I'll wait for you at the same roadside as last time, hurry down after work."
Zhou Huaiyi looked bewildered: "For what?"
Xiang Qichen paused for a second: "I have another call coming in, let's leave it at that for now."
Beeps...
Zhou Huaiyi: "..."
"What's up?" Yu Fu grabbed a chip and turned her head from the computer screen.
Zhou Huaiyi stared at her phone for a while, wrinkling her nose: "N-nothing."
Twenty minutes later, right at five o'clock, as soon as the dismissal bell rang at the studio, Zhou Huaiyi sprang from her chair. She hastily stuffed her belongings into her bag and hurriedly rushed out.
Yu Fu, just standing up, saw her rushing and called out: "Hey, hey, hey, you're not waiting for me?"
Zhou Huaiyi opened the door and glanced back, hurriedly, "Ah, I've got something urgent, I've got to go, be careful yourself!"
