Sienna Thornton spent over half an hour picking and choosing, finally allowing Simon Forrester to go pay the bill. Simon, feeling relieved, quickly took her tray of small items to the cashier.
The two continued walking back. Simon held a few bags in one hand and wrapped his other arm around Sienna's slender shoulders, matching his pace to hers.
Passing a cultural shop named "Sea Turtle Slow-Mail," Sienna said she wanted to go in and see if there were any nice notebooks. Simon accompanied her inside, only to discover that the store's main business was slow mail, which means writing letters to the future.
Some young tourists were writing letters in a corner, sealing envelopes, and handing them over to the clerk. Sienna, curious, went over to ask about it and returned happily, holding Simon's hand, saying, "I want to write a letter to our child."
Simon didn't quite understand.
