Simon Forrester waited until 10:30 before leaving work with Sienna Thornton.
It was early October, and the autumn chill was heavy in Brimfield. The wind was sharp and brisk, occasionally causing goosebumps.
Simon wrapped his arm around Sienna's shoulder, pulling her half into his embrace, and asked, "Are you cold?"
Just as he spoke, another gust of wind blew by, lifting Sienna's bangs that were tucked behind her ear. She raised her fair and delicate hand to adjust it, looked up at Simon, and smiled, "I'm not cold, I'm wearing a trench coat."
With that, she gathered her beige long trench coat around herself.
Simon hugged her a bit tighter.
Across from the government building was a large mall, and at this hour, it was quite lively, with a lot of cars and people. After passing the bustling section, they turned onto Regent Avenue, a street with a strong commercial atmosphere, lined with high-rises, luxury hotels, and huge malls.
