Simon Forrester came home from work, changed his shoes at the entrance, and saw the kitchen light on. He put the car key into the key bowl on the entrance cabinet, swapped into slippers, and walked over to the kitchen for a glance.
Sienna Thornton was slicing sashimi, with a disposable glove on her left hand and a knife in her right. The sashimi on the plate was chopped unevenly, with varying thickness.
"You need to use the long knife to slice sashimi," Simon Forrester said as he reached for the knife rack, taking down a sharp long knife.
"Let me do it." He patted Sienna Thornton's shoulder and took the knife to rinse it in the sink.
When he turned around, Sienna Thornton was still at the cutting board struggling with the poor salmon, while reaching out to him: "Give me the knife, let me try."
He handed the knife to her: "Be careful, this knife is very sharp."
"Come on, I'm not far-sighted."
A slice of salmon was cut; although a bit thick, it was alright.
