Simon Forrester was pestering Matriarch Forrester to open the safe. Naturally, Matriarch Forrester had to ask him what he wanted the jewelry for. At first, he didn't say, but when Matriarch asked a few more questions, he pretended to be angry. Old Master Forrester, who doted on his grandson, urged his wife to quickly go and open the safe.
The safe had four levels, filled with jewelry boxes of various sizes.
Matriarch Forrester asked Simon Forrester, "What kind of jewelry are you looking for? Something for the neck or something for the hands?"
Simon Forrester replied, "The most valuable one."
Before Matriarch Forrester could respond, Bianca Fordham walked over with a sarcastic tone, "Mom, didn't you say these pieces would be divided between the two granddaughters-in-law? If you take the most valuable one now, won't Thomas Reed's wife only get some small pieces in the future?"
