"Jenna, you go to the ward and keep mom company first. I'll be there in a bit," Sienna Thornton said, asking Jenna Raines to leave.
Once Jenna Raines left, Simon Forrester asked again, "What's going on? Is there an issue with the surgery fee?"
"I can handle a surgery fee of about a hundred thousand," Sienna Thornton, exhausted and on the brink of collapse, found a place to sit down. "I'll have a friend in Brimfield help find the best cardiologist for my mom."
Simon Forrester visibly breathed a sigh of relief and sat down next to her.
Sienna Thornton clenched her right hand into a fist, her nails digging deep into her palm. She hesitated to speak; after all, family scandals are hard to share with outsiders. She evaded the subject: "But until this matter is settled, let's not discuss it with the Raines Family to avoid any complications."
Simon Forrester nodded in agreement. "It's good you have a plan. If you face any difficulties, you can tell me."
